Maintenance

Knightsbridge Estate

Mectric Solutions is contracted by Jaguar Building Services to attend the Knightsbridge Estate for quarterly maintenance visits.

The maintenance would take place over night to avoid any disruption to the area. Throughout the year this would include cleaning of all light fittings, plugs, cable route and checking of all commando sockets on the roof to ensure they are in good condition before the Christmas lights display.

Mectric Solutions is on call to be in attendance as quickly as possible if any lights become faulty to avoid any gaps within the lighting display.

Ability Place

Ability Place Management

Ability Place is a prestigious apartment complex in Canary Wharf where cutting edge design and a sleek, high-end finish is expected. This theme runs throughout the entire development, from the grounds and communal facilities to the corridors and stairwells.

Modern lighting, ventilation and heating systems feature predominantly while comprehensive emergency systems are ready to engage in the event of fire or power failure. Altogether, there are extensive electrical and mechanical systems throughout the building, and these require scheduled monitoring to ensure they remain safe and in good working order.

Since 2012, Mectric Solutions Ltd has worked alongside the Ability Place management company to ensure that all systems are routinely maintained.

Several times each month, one of our engineers visits site to carry out all necessary inspections, repairs and replacements to ensure that everything is kept running safely and smoothly.

Mectric Solutions Ltd are able to offer 24 hour reactive call-out services, guaranteed rapid response and scheduled inspections.

BAM FM

BAM FM, one of our longstanding working partners, is heavily involved in supporting the Education sector. For the past seven years, BAM has contracted Mectric Solutions Ltd to carry out electrical testing and maintenance throughout numerous schools across the South East.

One aspect of this contract is to conduct five yearly electrical condition reports. In order to remain compliant with current legislation and yet minimise disruption, schools elect to have 20% of their electrical systems tested each year as part of a rolling testing regime. Every summer during the school holidays, our NICEIC registered engineers visit numerous schools to carry out all necessary inspections. We then produce condition reports which detail any remedial work required to ensure all systems remain safe and fully functional.

Another task we undertake on an annual basis is Emergency Lighting inspection, testing and certification.

Throughout the year we also provide reactive maintenance as and when required. This includes rapid response to fix internal and external lighting as well as the repair of electrical appliances.
