Mectric Solutions were appointed by ISS working in partnership with the NHS Trust to carry out the design and build MEP system of the prospect park hospital, Jasmine Ward, Reading.

Due to the wing being an accommodation for mental health patients, all MEP elements had to be installed with anti-ligature components and very secure, detailed design and installation.  

The services comprised of:

  • New lighting & power throughout.
  • New ventilation system.
  • AC system.
  • Domestic hot and cold system utilising specialist Kingfisher pipe and fittings.
  • New LTHW heating system.  
  • Panic and nurse call alarms.

Wellbeing Hub – Newham University Hospital

Mectric Solutions were appointed by ISS working in partnership with the Barts Health NHS Trust, to carry out the construction of a new wellbeing hub at Newham Hospital.

The existing area was a kitchen/old cafeteria area. The existing MEP services were removed, and partition walls and ceilings removed. New walls and ceiling were constructed, and new MEP services installed.

The services comprised of:
